Named for Henri Buruel, who obtained mining rights from Lucien Maxwell in the 1860's and operated the French Henry Mine on the ridge above Copper Park. Located in the 10,098-acre Baldy Territory that was purchased by Norton Clapp and donated to Philmont in 1963.
